Important Update

COVID-19 RESPONSE – OFFICE UPDATES

As coronavirus continues to spread in our community and throughout the world, SKC Dermatology is responding in kind and shifting strategy as an organization to ensure safe access of medical care for our patients, as well as a safe work environment for our medical team and staff.

For this reason, SKC Dermatology will have modified office hours, but we are fully committed to providing excellent healthcare to all of our patients virtually via Telehealth medical services.

Both new and established patients can request for a Telehealth Medical Dermatology consultation, which can be provided virtually through FaceTime, Skype or Doxy and other audio/video applications/platforms as deemed appropriate by SKC Dermatology.

Patients can consult with Dr. Sunny Chun from the comfort of their home by booking a TELEHEALTH Medical Dermatology Visit in one of the following ways:

Calling the office: 201-879-0303
If we do not pickup, please leave a message and a team member will get back to you.
Emailing us at: info@skcdermatology.com

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Medicare/Medicaid and most commercial insurance plans are likely to participate in reimbursing telehealth visits. SKC Dermatology will submit to your insurance plan the visit as a ‘telehealth visit’. All copays and deductibles that apply to your plan for regular in-office visits will also apply for telehealth visits.

If you have any questions/concerns about SKC Dermatology’s financial policy, please ask prior to the telehealth service/visit so you can make an informed decision that is best for you.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during these difficult circumstances. We greatly appreciate the flexibility and understanding of our community during this complicated time.

We are doing our best to ensure your access to care is not interrupted, while still taking the safety of all our patients and staff into consideration.

We will continue to monitor the situation with the hope of resuming regularly scheduled office visits as soon as possible. In the meantime, we urge you stay connected by communicating with Dr. Sunny Chun by emailing her at drchun@skcdermatology.com.

Please feel free to contact the office to speak with anyone on the SKC Dermatology team. SKC Dermatology is here for all of our patients and the community to help in any way that we can during these turbulent times.
